Whether it's a special occasion, a reason to celebrate, a romantic date, or just that you want to treat your loved one to a special meal, there's only one place in Croydon to go: the Harvester.

Situated next to the busy Kent Gate Way, it's easy to find and has plenty of car parking. The tram stop is on the other side of Kent Gate Way so you can have a beer or six and get the tram home again.

The Harvester is the place where you get the free bowl of healthy salad. Impress your other half by piling that little salad bowl as high as you can!

Even more impressive is getting that bowl of salad back to your table without tripping over the screaming, excited kids running around everywhere.

If you prefer, or if you're on a romantic date, it's probably best to go to the salad bar 2 or 3 times. You can go to the salad bar as many times as you want.

It's always best to wear a new tracksuit to the Harvester, or at least a clean one. Make sure you have pockets in the tracksuit top so you can grab a few bread rolls to take away with you. Don't fill pockets with salad, it just gets messsy.
